Program Mission

To empower licensed real estate agents to increase their income potential by becoming dual-licensed as Mortgage Loan Originators — giving clients a one-stop experience while earning income from both the real estate and lending sides of the transaction.

​A RELP (Real Estate & Lending Professional) is an actively licensed Realtor who also becomes licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO). RELPs act as a referral-based junior loan officer while continuing to represent buyers and sellers — earning compensation for both roles on the same deal.

​What We Provide: 
​1. NMLS Sponsorship
2. ​We cover 100% of your MLO education and licensing fees (conditions apply)
​3. MentorshipYou’ll be assigned a Loan Buddy Mentor to help structure your first few files and guide you through the process.
​4. Commission for RELP: up to 50 Bps (0.50%) of the loan amount

​Commission Example:
​Loan Amount: $1,500,000
​RELP: $7,500 (50 Bps)

​Real Estate Side:​
​To unify both income streams, you’ll move your real estate license to Equitable Mortgage & Realty Inc. We match your current real estate commission split — just submit a copy of your existing contract.

Requirements to  Join: 

1. Active real estate license (California or approved states)
​2. Willingness to move realty license under Equitable
​3. Commitment to complete MLO licensing within 30–45 days
​4. Pass background check and MLO exam
​5. Complete Sign Equitable's "RELP " Agreement
