RELAP PROGRAM Mission

To give real estate professionals a simple, compliant, and profitable way to earn mortgage income by assisting clients in starting their loan application — without needing to become a licensed loan officer.

A RELAP (Real Estate Assistant  & Lending Assistant Professional) is a W-2 team member who helps clients begin the mortgage process by sharing a custom "Apply Now" link and ensuring the application is submitted. RELAP's do not need a mortgage license and are not responsible for collecting documents or structuring the loan. They are paid based on successful client submissions that result in closed loans.

Requirements to Join as a RELAP with Equitable Lending

U.S Resident

U.S. resident with valid ID and ability to complete W-2 onboarding

Proven Experience in Real Estate or Financial Services

Familiarity with financial services, real estate or mortgages preferred but not required

Integrity

Must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a commitment to ethical communication with clients and team members.

No Quoting Rates or Fees

As a RELAP Agent, you cannot quote rates, fees, or loan terms. Your only role is to share the “Apply Now” link and assist with getting the application submitted. All financial discussions must be handled by a licensed loan officer to stay compliant.
